· VERY IMPORTANT! Rear grips must be
removed BEFORE front grips. Moza have
added a new screw on all FSR wheels and
newer builds of the GS wheels which retains
the front grips (we believe to reduce creaking
on their OEM grips). To get to this screw Rear
grips MUST be removed first. Your wheel may
be an older build and not have the screw but
doing in this order ensures grips can be
removed with minimum problems.
· Carefully remove the rear grips by trying to
form a gap between the front and rear half.
The first time removing the Moza original
grips this may take some time as Moza use a
blue sealant between the grips. Persevere
and they eventually will slightly part. Do not
try to force things.
· Once you create a small gap, ideally use a
trim removal tool (aka a spudger) as these
tend to be more gentle and don't damage
plastic trim parts. If you do not have one of
these, then blunt side of a knife. Either of
these tools will help you gradually part the
grips further apart. Move along the seam.
